Pricing 

Michele Sommerlath uses a similar pricing structure for her design service “Design Eclare” and her staging service. Her three locations and warehouse facility allow her to choose from a wide variety of eclectic and unusual pieces of furniture, art and lighting to stage a home or design a more permanent space in a compelling way. In order for her to get a sense of the size and scope of a project, she requires the client to send in digital photographs of the space and proper dimensions. If it is an entire apartment or house, each room should be documented, including entries and hallways. The more information provided, the better equipped she will be to give her opinion and expert design advice. Below, find a simple guide explaining how the services work and a basic price breakdown for each phase of the project.

When Michele Sommerlath receives the initial images and dimensions, she will assess the project and provide a basic plan and a new design, which will be sent by email. This plan will offer suggestions of pieces that could be taken out of the space, pieces from her vast collection that could be purchased and added to a room, and advice about lighting and art. The basic plan costs $500.

After a client receives the basic plan, there are a number of ways they can utilize it. If it is only the advice and ideas that they are looking for, they can take the plan and implement the ideas themselves.

If the client likes a suggested floor plan and would like to purchase some of the pieces of furniture, art or lighting in the plan they can do that. Clients who purchase a plan on line will be given an additional ten percent discount on anything they purchase at all of the locations including the warehouse. Flat rates for placing, moving and hanging art are negotiated separately.

For staging, beyond the basic plan, there is a rental fee assigned to all the pieces the client chooses. This fee includes moving and placement of all the pieces and the rental fee is assigned to the project. A three-month minimum is required.

For the client that is interested in a traditional design service, where Michele Sommerlath and her staff will meet with you personally in your home and conduct business personally, there is a separate price structure available upon request.
